‘Water, Wind, Dust, Bread’ to vie at IDFA

Iranian documentary ‘Water, Wind, Dust, Bread’ has been selected to compete at the 34th edition of the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) in the Netherlands.

Directed by Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasari, the documentary is a colorful depiction of the life of two kids named Abolfazl and Setayesh.

Despite all the hardships, these two kids are doing their best to live a happy life, a life that is different from others.

The documentary has also participated in the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival in Czech Republic.

The upcoming edition of the idfa will be held in person and will include screening films, holding discussions, and presenting interactive experiences.

The festival will be held on November 17-28, 2021.
